Italian Chicken Wrap



  •  4-8       La Tapatia or Sol de Oro Organic Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas or Gorditas
  • 2 lbs     Chicken tenderloins
  • 2           Tomatoes (sliced)
  • 1 pkg   Fresh Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 2 cups  Baby Spinach (stems removed)
  • 2          Avocados (mashed)
  • 3 tbsp. Italian seasoning
  •             Olive Oil Cooking Spray

Seasonings: Salt, Pepper, Garlic Salt.
Optional: marinara sauce or ranch dressing
 Set aside 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning to sprinkle on wrap.





  1. Generously spray pan with cooking spray. Heat frying pan on medium high. Sprinkle chicken with above seasoning and Italian seasoning. Saute on each side till juices run clear and center is white in color. About 3-4 minutes on each side, depending on the size of your chicken tenderloins. 
  2. Warm up your tortillas until softened. Keep pan warm, you will use it to brown wrap.
  3. To assemble wrap; lay tortilla flat and place a couple slices of mozzarella cheese down the center.  Add a handful of spinach leaves and 3 slices of tomato down the center.  Spread about 1 tablespoon of mashed avocado on tomato.  Place desired amount of cooked chicken on top of spinach and tomato.  Wrap the tortilla around the fillings from one side to the other. Spray outside of wrap with cooking spray (both sides) and sprinkle with some Italian seasoning and garlic salt.  Place wrap with folded side down on heated pan until browned. Turn and brown on other side.

Can be served with a side of marinara sauce or ranch dressing. Enjoy!
